I can see how 5 people using MS Office for $2/mo sounds good. But if I had multiple people who needed it, I would then look into buying a larger number of licenses, and installing it. I forget how many devices the Home and Student version is allowed to be installed on.

If you need cloud acces, looks like you have no choice but to go for 365. But if you are going to work on a desktop or tablet by yourself (without the need for collaboration), I'm still convinced that the old fashioned installed versions will pay for themselves given a few years.
