Proshivka Bios So Slic 21

Im sorry to ressurect an old thread but i thought it might be better than starting a new one as I did try search the forum first. Im looking for an unlocked acer aspire 8930g bios. I want to access the hidden menus so I can undervolt my Q9000 and drop temps. I dont like doing it from windows and prefer bios. Im currently using a modded v1.21 with VT-x enabled and SLIC 2.1 I can post a link to the bios or I can email it to someone if they ask. Im posting the message using a smartphone so i cant upload anything to a hosting service.

SLIC is a mechanism that allows a product key to be embedded into the BIOS of the box, but if there isn't one there now, a BIOS update isn't going to add one, and Windows won't activate unless you have an actual key for it to find there. Hi, 1: check by yourself if you have a SLIC table visible on your machine with this tool 2: If your table is here in version 2.0 then upgrade your BIOS. 3: if your table is not here, then you need to use the HP DMI tool.
